1. Scope of Services

• Custom web and mobile application development.
• Website design and development.
• ReportMe: Our Integrated School Management Platform.

2. ReportMe Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)

• Access: ReportMe runs on the web and is currently accessed through a standard web browser without requiring special hardware or local software installation. A mobile application is in development.
• Subscriptions: Use of the ReportMe platform is provided on a subscription basis.
• Updates: New versions and features are rolled out centrally, meaning schools are never required to manually upgrade the software themselves.

3. Payment Terms and Billing

• Currency: All fees are charged in Ghanaian Cedis (GHS).
• Payment Gateway: All subscription payments for ReportMe and milestone payments for custom development are processed securely via Paystack. We do not store your credit card or mobile money PIN details.
• Custom Projects: Custom web and mobile applications require an agreed-upon upfront deposit before development begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion.
• ReportMe Subscriptions: Subscription fees for ReportMe must be paid in advance according to your selected billing cycle (e.g., termly or annually). Failure to maintain an active subscription may result in suspended access to the platform.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

• Software Subscriptions (ReportMe): Subscription payments are non-refundable once the billing cycle has commenced. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing.
• Custom Development: Upfront deposits for custom web or mobile applications are non-refundable once active development has started. If a client cancels a custom project prior to completion, they will be billed only for the pro-rated amount of work completed up to the cancellation date.
• Refund Processing: Eligible refunds will be processed back to the original payment method via Paystack within 5 to 10 business days.

5. Data Privacy and Security

• Data Isolation: Each school utilizing ReportMe is provisioned with its own separate database, ensuring that one school’s data is completely isolated from another’s.
• Encryption and Access: Passwords are stored encrypted and can never be read back by anybody, including our staff. System access is strictly controlled centrally through individual roles and permissions.
• AI and Personal Data: While ReportMe features artificial intelligence tools for teachers, pupil personal data is never used to train any outside AI model.

6. Intellectual Property

• Client Ownership: Upon full payment for a custom website or mobile application, the client owns the final design and specific content.
• Platform Ownership: Dev-Webplus Technologies retains full ownership of the ReportMe platform, its underlying code, features, and intellectual property. Paying a subscription grants the school a license to use the platform, not ownership of the software itself.
